prairie rattler skins
« on: March 09, 2020, 11:33:08 am »
I collect these guys every season here in Montana and it's coming up in a few weeks. I usually try to put up about 15-20 for trade and my use. If anyone would like any of them pm me here. I have maybe a dozen on hand at about 3' long. Let me know what you have to trade.

I have had one that I've been looking to match for several years now. I'd be interested in a set, plus maybe an extra for the one I've already got.   I've got all sorts of shafts and feathers.

PM me here, I sent a few out to a member here yesterday. I also have some bull snake hides. They are actually a thicker skin than the prairie skins, attractive on a bow back as well. They have the benefit of being MUCH larger than the smaller prairie rattlers. It isn't odd to see them well over 6' in length which makes a bow back one solid hide, top to bottom.

I have a good many hides dried and ready again, with a good many more to come for the season. So if you need hides, PM me here please. These are all prairie rattler hides in various sizes from smaller narrow snakes to a couple that are over 50"!!! There are some nice snakes out there this season.

Brian I would be interested in some to if you still have some. I’ve got lots of wild turkey primaries. Sinew, rawhide, HHB staves.

I have some 25 plus year old port orford cedar shafts spined for 60 to 70 pounds. They are high quality and have been stored in my closet indoors for at least the last 25 years. I could trade some of these for some nice snake skins.
