Couldn't resist that, sooo sorry!

Anyway, last Christmas I wanted to whittle a couple of snowman from a small branch or two but my better half had other ideas and I ended up carving a lot of sawn-disk snowmen instead.  Fast forward to this week, I unexpectedly have some extra time on my hands (I am a teacher) and I finally get chance to get that little project done; the big one is 3" tall and hazel, the small one just over 2" tall and holly.  Hope they make someone smile.

Cute!  What carving tool(s) did you use?

Just a knife except for the nose on the large one, that needed a v-tool as the wood was a bit fibrous with some awkward swirl around the pin-knot that I used to form the nose (to increase its strength)
