Sturgeon-backed Yew Bow 50#@27"

This bow started with a stave that had a slight natural deflex. I gently flipped the tips to gain back some reflex. The bow is 64" long and pulls 50#@27". It's backed with sturgeon skins both for aesthetics and added protection on the back. The tip overlays are buffalo horn and the handle wrap is tanned beaver tail with kangaroo lace. The finish is tru oil and the string is D97 with mink fur silencers.

Everything about this bow is fantastic. I especially like the color popping out of the tip overlays.
