Is there yew outside its natural range?

I know that Osage can be found well outside its natural range even in the wild due to human introduction. I live in southern California. Is this the case with yew?

There should be Pacific yew growing in the California mountains, at least up north. There are other yews growing in folks landscapes.

There is a very rare Yew growing in the Panhandle in North Florida on the Apalachicola River. And it is protected.
Lakeland, Florida
If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I think there is a native species that grows in eastern North America also.

Taxis canadensis but I don't think it gets big enough for full length staves. I have found a good bit of yew by getting permission to trim overgrown hedgerows here in PA.

I was surprised to see small yew growing in the mountains of SW Alberta ,  cold enough to get reliable frost 9 months a year if not more.
