osage board pieces
« on: July 06, 2020, 07:47:34 am »
Still looking for some smaller 1/4" TO 3/8th's thick pieces of osage board to be used for butt caps on my knife handles. They don't need to be real long, 1 1/2" or so as I trim them down to about the size of a quarter.  I have some 4" or 5" die cut RIGHT feathers or some full length LEFT wing feathers for trade.

1/4 to 3/8ths thick and at least 1 1/2" long. I use them for butt sections on stone knives so after being attached and sanded they are usually around the size of a quarter when done. But a little longer board is good so I can get more caps to use. Thanks for your help Eric.

If Eric's doesn't work for you I could turn an osage dowel on the lathe and you could slice off what you need.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
