Having a successful hunter/bowyer share info really is a big plus for the guys wanting to learn to build wood bows, Brad so thanks to you for sharing your knowledge with everyone interested. Enjoying what you are doing makes it all worthwhile and fulfilling.  :OK   (-S (-S (-S (-S

Right back at you Brad. I very much enjoy all the contributions from the many fine bowyers on this site. Let's make more bows for 22.

Started the New Year by getting a few scrapes done on the hickory I was working on at MoJam - a bit of character - not so simple flatbow.  ambidextrous, pin nocks, a strategic knot to work around, that limb doesn't seem to want to tiller yet.  Target weight is about 40#.  Got to motivate my tender butt and keep working on it,  also have to relearn posting pictures. Got a nice yew stave from High Desert, and a primo osage from Clint that I hope to work on this year.  BTW, we have a winter storm in progress, and it ain't gonna get warm 'til spring - more rain would be nice, though!
