I took a nice little 8 point, not my biggest but a really cool adventure for sure. :) Story in [Primitive skills section] Life is Good if you care to read it. 8 Point 120 lbs, Osage hollow limb selfbow 50@26. PO cedar shaft and Ace 160 head.  ;)

Very nice. I hunted hard up until our rifle season. Saw lots of deer but just never could close the deal.
Had a little button buck that I saw pretty regular. 10 yds twice and 12 yds once. While they are good to eat I don’t like working up small chunks of meat. Besides he might be a trophy buck someday if he lives long enough.
