Thanks Gentlemen for your nice comments!

You always build beautiful bows, how many bows a year do you think you make?

I cannot say how much.
I had to interrupt my bowmaking due to serious health problems. Since a few months I'm happy working in my shop again and I think I'm quite productive. I work on several bows at the same time, I didn't count them but maybe around 100. This allows me to choose the wood or design I have actual appetite.

Super nice bow!  Love that pattern too.

Beautiful bow!  I love the camo painted back and the cow horn tip overlays. Great bend like all your bows. Thanks for sharing your work here.

What did you use to mask the spots on the back when painting?

Thanks again guys!
Meanwhile I have tried some new patterns on some bow blanks (I know they should be a bow before painting on the back, but that process gose so well and its fun to create a nice pattern that quickly).

What did you use to mask the spots on the back when painting?

shellac
