I know it's not bow hunting, but I'm guessing they did it with bows as well. I just found it interesting.

My older brother and I were bow hunting Deer back in the 90's and decided to take a break to go duck hunting with our shotguns.  While out jumping ponds it started to rain so we took shelter under a large spruce tree and built a fire.  We were snapping branches for the fire when I looked over and there was a big buck sneaking by at no more than 30 yards
