Follow up on new arrows
« on: January 29, 2022, 10:26:45 pm »
I really am rusty. It's been a couple years since I've done a complete set of arrows, fletching the first was kind of a re-learning experience. The cock feathers generally line up with the nock pointer and somehow I kept glue off the fathers, so we'll call it good for now. Two arrows are fletched with right wing turkey feathers, one with left wing. (sitting in an open box in the garage for 5 years a lot of the feathers have fallen victim to bugs- guess I deserve that :(.

Pretty nice for being rusty!  I keep my feathers in a bag with a bunch of borax shaken over them.  Seems to keep the bugs at bay.
