Something from the scrap bucket.

Another piece of broken slab from the scrap bucket I got from Frank. Was about 3”x3” and about 3/4” thick. 90 degrees all the way around. Once again. Sure wish I had the original slab

Thinking this might become my personal neck knife. Might have to do a little leather work next

Really don’t know what it is Rob. Thinking maybe some kind of jasper. Sure would like to have some more.

I decided to notch it and haft with sinew.

Sharpened it a little more to

Thats some nice looking rock. Red always looks good knapped to me. Great looking knife.

I like red to. I have mahogany obsidian almost identical color, but this stuff is completely different character. I really like how this works. It seems more durable than obsidian to.

That turned out great, Brian.  Yes, that material is interesting and I like the overall form of the knife.  Very nice.
