Osage Recurve with Wolf Fish Skins 55#@28"
« on: July 07, 2022, 07:42:10 pm »
I'm really enjoying how these wolf fish skins look on bows. I wish I had more to play with. This bow is 64" long and pulls 55#@28". The handle wrap is tanned beaver tail and the tips are buffalo horn.

that skins are really nice
Did you had to work on them or they retained the color and contrast so well?

That would be a hard one to let go. So special all around, but I particularly like how you did the fades.

Super detailed work on this bow.  Very nice.

Another beauty, Weylin. Did you have this bow at the Classic. I remember seeing those wolf fish skins but don't remember if they were on a bow or not.

Thank you, everyone for the kind words!

awesome bow
that skins are really nice
Did you had to work on them or they retained the color and contrast so well?

Thank you. This is just the natural skins glued onto the osage. No dye or anything.

Another beauty, Weylin. Did you have this bow at the Classic. I remember seeing those wolf fish skins but don't remember if they were on a bow or not.

Thank you, Pat. I didn't have this at the classic. I think I just showed you some of the skins in a box. Ronan had some on his bow. Maybe you saw that.

Wow that is a beauty, those wolf fish skins might be coming into fashion after more people see this.

Thanks, Steve. I hope not! I don't want to compete with everyone to find more.  ;D
