Hen of the Woods

Buckskinner:
Found some nice hen of the woods this week, picked a few and left a few.  I dehydrated about half and froze the other half in vac bags.  One of them was very young so we deep fried that one, absolutely one of my favorite things to eat...   Also, good year for giant puffballs, which I have a soup recipe that I found that will knock your socks off if anyone is interested.
