Lost a member
« on: February 03, 2023, 09:52:11 am »
We lost a member of the PA family yesterday.   Ed Brooks passed away with his family by his side.  Although we never met in person, we had many good trades and conversations about bow building.   He was one of those guys you could just tell was a really good person.  I would have liked to set by a campfire with him.  Maybe we will get that chance on the other side.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Rest in peace, Ed.

He was one of the "good guys". No question about that.

Thanks Clint. I hadn’t heard that.

Sent him a Christmas trade once I think.

RIP Ed.

I just remembered… one of my first ever group trades was with Ed… it was the 2019 arrow trade. He was very kind and even ended up sending me extra sinew and arrowheads when I broke the tip of the arrow off. It was a small kindness, but it stuck with me.

RIP Ed, your heart was as beautiful as your craftsmanship
