Hello everyone
This is a five curve that was l made a while back. It's Sugar Maple with sawfly trails and a mild propeller twist. i steamed the tips and centre but all three places tore along the belly when l bent them on the form. l cut the tips off and removed the offending wood from the grip and tried it again with the same result! So l decided to cut my losses and removed the torn wood from under the tips and handle again, lessened the arc on the forms and bent them all a third time with the now thinner wood and milder curves. All good that time so l built up the curves with Osage lams under the tips and grip. Finally l tempered the limbs and removed most of the propeller twist. The result was this #51@ 26" L-60"ntn mild five curve that actually shoots quite hard and fast. Thanks for your time everyone and l hope all is well with y'all.
