Unable to post replies?
« on: May 12, 2023, 11:08:25 am »
Is anyone else having trouble?

I seem to having trouble with either my phone or the site.

Sometimes the thread will have a different style print and layout. I actually like the print as it’s easier for my old eyes. The pictures seem clearer too.
It’s actually a nice look.

However when it does this I don’t have any options for replying.

I first noticed it when I went to look at selfbow of the month .

Then when I posted a reply on my life on the farm thread it posted my reply in that format and I wasn’t able to post another reply until Glis Glis posted one and then it was the normal old format again and I could reply

Now I just went to Gava bow and I couldn’t reply. Thread was different format. Nice print and pictures but no way to reply

No problem here on my laptop, Brian. I don't use my phone to post.

Strange Pat.

When I posted this it was in the other format and I couldn’t add another reply until you posted yours. Then it switched back to the original format and I could.

Way over my head and pay grade, Brian. I'm lucky to be able to do any of this computer stuff. I usually just wing it and hope for the best.  ;D

Me too Pat.

That’s why whenever any of it changes it screws me up.

I’m pretty sure it’s something I did but I’m not sure what.

Or maybe a update

Annoying at any rate.

Change usually is. Even if its progress

BJ. I use my phone (Android) 95% of the time I look at this site. I have not had any issues you have described. I am a caveman when it comes to technology myself so I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance. The one thing I will say is somehow I changed a setting on my phone I couldn't figure out so I took it to the cell phone store and the woman fixed it in 30 seconds.. I still have no idea what I did, so yes maybe it is something you accidentally did to cause the issues you're having. Good luck. I hope you can get it resolved.

I think it must be my phone. I noticed it does the same thing on leatherwall.

It’s very intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t

Oh well I probably spend too much time on here anyway.

Still don’t know why it happens but it’s not letting me post reply on my Life on the Farm thread again.

Just shows my last post in nice big print but know way to reply and only see my last post.

I wanted to reply to Eric’s thread but it’s the same. Just shows one reply and know way to see more or post reply

I’m thinking if someone else replies to my life on the farm thread I might be able to post on it again. At least it worked the last time this happened

Thanks for trying Otis.

I can see you replied on the home page, but when I click on the page it still only shows me my last reply.

I looked at your last reply in profile and could read your reply.

Very strange. I think it is something with my phone. It does it occasionally on Leather Wall to

I am not a techie for sure.  Just thought I would post to see if it let you get back on your thread.  I enjoy your post of Life on the Farm.

Thanks Otis. I appreciate you trying. If i click on any of the previous pages I can see them like normal. If I click on pg 52 it just shows my last reply in large print with no way to reply.

I’m curious if I can reply from a different page. Might give that a try
