Who wants to join me on a flintlock hunt in South Africa in August next year?
6 day hunt $2950.00 includes an Impala Ram and a Wildebeest Cow. You can shoot anything else you want on a trophy fee basis. this includes all transportation from and back to the Johannesburg airport, lodging, meals and guide.
Leave USA August 9th depart South Africa August 17th.
We also have a couple of spots on a 10 day bowhunt prior to this hunt. $5900.00 Impala Ram, Wildebeest Cow and $1500.00 towards any trophy animal you choose.
This is an amazing hunt that I have been on many times.
Call me for more info about this adventure!

Hey Mike, tell us about transporting the flintlocks and black powder. I cannot imagine an airline allowing anyone to pack blasting powder, how is that handled?
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

JW   I googled it and here’s what I found. I was kinda shocked to be honest
You can actually carry it on in your carry on luggage. Unless I’m reading it wrong.

Not sure where you got that info but this is as of 2019: I was just in South Africa and this is also what the PH told me.
Note: With muzzleloaders growing in popularity, you need to know that you cannot fly with loose blackpowder or loose primers caps on any airline. You can fly with a muzzleloader, but you cannot fly with the powder and primers. You must ship those to your destination ahead of time

You’re right PA   I just did a quick google search when I read the post and should have checked it before I posted. I went to TSA site and no powder or caps.

Took me a while to find it but here’s where I got that info at. It was before 2017. I think.
Got to be careful on the internet
Thanks for calling me on it. I really wouldn’t want to mislead anyone

Agree Muskyman. Google can be deceiving at times. One site says something totally opposite of another site. Then again, it is the Internet...no telling what you'll find lol.
