Georgetown point

Probably my best out of Georgetown so far. 3 X 1&1/4. Right at 1/4 thick
I’ve been struggling to get them thinner. Broke 3 or 4 in a row trying to thin them. Getting better but I seem to struggle more with the flint.

That is a great point musky. It has symmetry a very even mid line, and it's thin. I'd say you are doing fantastic.

Thanks gentlemen. I think I’m getting better but knapping has a pretty good way of humbling me. Out in my shop today and was looking through my stash and found a nice piece of black obsidian I bought a while back. Probably about 6 inches long and I thought that I could make a nice knife blade out of that. And I started taking nice gentle little flakes off and about 6-8 nice little taps in, yup broke right in to. I put the 2 piece in my come back later bucket.
