In target archery draw length does not matter, or it is not so important in view of bow energy storage and arrow speed, when comparing same poundage in different draw lengths. Longer draw need longer arrow and thus the arrow has to be stiffer, which means heavier arrow, which slow down the arrow. I once calculated that when using pine arrows, the arrow speed is basically the same, whether the draw length is 28 inches or 32 inches. Long, 32" draw needs at least 20–25# stiffer arrow than 28" draw, and it thus heavier in physical weight, and extra length increases the weight also. So longer draw has not necessarily advantage in view of arrow speed.
