Brian, I can see where you could relieve the outer limb on that one limb I can see in the pic and that would give you an inch. If the other limb is similar there is another inch.

There is a little deflex kink in the top limb. With just a little twist. It does look a little stiff in the outers though. Might have to put it on the tree again. I don’t remember it looking that way on the tree.

I might be able to squeeze a little more draw and relieve some stress without losing weight.

Here’s a picture of Tea Pot hanging in line with some of my other bows. The first three (actually 4 but you probably can’t see the fourth one. Are bend through handle bows. 60” or less and they look pretty long next to Tea Pot

Wow, you got a lot of bend out of a short stave and it looks great! My shortest is a 53" Hickory and I could only get about 25" draw and that was it. The little ditty at the first post was really cool and no doubt she spit's 'em out! Nice line up of bows there.

Nice job on that one BJ, beautiful in all aspects. love the looks and feel of short bows, I just don't shoot them very well

Thank you barebo. I was on a short bow kick for awhile. Trying to see how short and stout I could get. Then I went back to my normal (still short) 24” draw and less stressed designs. Probably the better option.

This stave got me on the shorty kick again.

Thank you pappy. I appreciate everything you posted. I do like shooting them and carrying them.

I decided to go with a stiff handle on this one even though I would need a shorter draw. I do think I shoot it better than a bendy with a longer draw and wide handle. I agree they are different to shoot   and not for everyone.

I got tea pot 2 off the caul. It is the top stave from belly split I got Tea Pot from. I did a good heat treatment and correction.

Thank you Will B. I was thinking about trying to get another inch of draw from Tea Pot, but the more I shoot it the more I like it. I’m actually shooting this bow pretty darn good. And enjoying doing it.

One other thing I forgot to mention. The skin I used was given to me . It was kinda messed up. I had to splice it . It was in three pieces . One is under the leather handle wrap now, but it looked good.
The second is middle of lower limb.

Turned out nice, although if you look closely you can see it. And if you really pay attention you might even notice the scales are running the wrong direction on the one.

All in all though . I think they look great and I was very happy to make use of them
