Gifts from Jamie
« on: August 24, 2008, 08:07:03 am »
Jamie, myself and a few others met up at Jamies club on Sat.  Did some knapping, napping, chasing turkeys around, some shooting, and  eating (Thanks to Mike who always feeds me great wild game meals).  This time it was pulled BBQ moose. ;D  Delicious.  Also Jamie got me started on an all stone tool truly primitive bow.  I'll be posting a build along on it shortly. All in all it was a great day and break from the usual. Best of all Jamie gave me these.  The pics don't do them any justice.

Give it time! Give it time!  ;)  Obsidian is sharp but truly its not meant to be whacking things with and expect it to survive for long. Its just glass!!!!!  :'(

I promised I would use it at least once.  I'm not worried.  I might use it for home defence. ;D
