Osage Take Down
« on: August 27, 2008, 04:37:12 pm »
Thanks to Shaun Webb and his take down bow, I got the urge to try my luck. I had this umbrella connection that I think is bronze, it's way too hard to be copper. I egg shaped it, so it wouldn't turn, it worked pretty good. The bow is 66" 50# @ 26", the lower limb is a little snakey, the upper pretty straight.

Great looking bow. Judging from the color I would say brass sleve.  Justin

Man that's slick Dano! I gotta get inspired around here - I still think there's flint somewhere in your yard ;D.

Cool Dano. That is one fine looking TD bow! Is your umbrella sleeve from a patio umbrella?

Awesome. I've got to try a take-down one of these days. If it turned out half as nice as that'un, I'd be happy. 8)
