bow just blew up!

 :-[, its still strung and dont know what to do, should I try and unstring it?

yeah....I would carefully unstring it before it breaks completely...maybe it can be repaired....or at least can be studied to see why it delaminated....pictures would be helpful too......did you possibly overdraw it?

Did you let it acclimate for a few days to it's new area?? I always tell people that I send a Bow to...to make sure that they don't string or shoot my Bows for a couple days till the Moisture Content in the wood stabilizes again to it's new surroundings...could be it was too dry in shipping or too dry in the part of the Country that the Bow gets shipped to...so for safety I always ask them to wait a few....
