That's a wicked looking bow.  It inspires me to actually get some work done on my hazel.  Nice job on a tough piece of wood.

Good Job Josh, being able to get a bow out of a piece of wood with that many knots is a real accomplishment. Working on cleaner stave's with less character should be a breeze for you. ;)

Yep i think its hazelnut nut it is not whych hazel which i think is the better wood.

If only the simple ones were easy. I find i end up going to quick and ruining them. The character slows me down and lets me evaluate things. (slowing down is hard for a teenager by the way  ;D)
