Had an awesome trade with stringman. I received a beautiful traditionally made mahogany obsidian knife with an elk horn handle. When I opened the box there was another knife point in there for me to make a neck knife with. Thanks a bunch Scott! I hope you enjoy all the leather bud.

Nice trade with 3-way trade with Patrick and JonW.  The stave is beautiful.  With luck it will make a nice Christmas present for my oldest son. He has been hounding me for a while now.  Too bad he saw the mailman pull up with the long skinny package.

Had a nice trade with Tim (not the primitive one--although I am sure he is great too).  Got some nice turkey feathers from him, including a few tail feathers.  I would be happy to do another trade with him sometime.

And I have had a good trade with David Schneider, Dan Dogge, and Edwin Woods (dvshunter, DanD and Abo). All great folks who take care to send good materials!

Embarrassed to say I kept forgetting to mention that when I made the trade, I wanted just a couple of scales so I could make an arrow or two.  The Dog sent quite a few more scales than I asked for and consequently, I have more than enough for arrows! And best of all, the scales were still attached to a strip of skin so that I understand how they were arranged on the fish.  So, gor some education out of the deal as well!

I am planning on using some of those scales as blades set into a primitive war club.  No idea what the heck I am going to do with it when I am done, but when does that stop any of us from starting a project, right?

Did a trade with Dubois (He's a comment above me! haha) and it all turned out good. His stuff is still in the mail, but my staves got here in great shape.

Thanks buddy!
