Point Swap-Final List on page 4
« on: October 17, 2008, 10:49:05 am »
Anybody interested? I like collecting other knapper's points. I have points that some of you have made, would like to have more.  :) We could do it like the knife swap or Christmas trade, see who's interested, then draw names to see who gets who.

What kind of time line ya thinking Steve? I'm done with my KITH knives, haven't started on my Christmas Trade yet and its
hunting season, not to mention I'm not real fast at the knapping or very good either.

Hmmm....I actually gave up knapping....at least a dozen times.  I won't touch a piece of rock now unless it's sandstone (I've made a few shaping tools, for wood, from coarse sandstone).

I've switched to bone.  I can make replica Cahokia and Sioux bone points.  Does that count?

Practice makes perfect.  Since I've given every point away I've made so far, why not practice some more and give it away too.  I'm in.

So far, I haven't found any Osage or knappable rock over here.  Embrace the suck

I would say a pretty generous timeline, kinda like the knife swap-maybe the end of Nov or so (or whenever everbody thinks), send points whenever you get 'em done? Phillip, bone points would be fine with me. Also, I'd say enter multiple times if you want to.

Put me in 3 times.  I'll do a 3 for 1 (on each swap): three bone arrowheads for each stone point. ;D

I love these kind of trades.

You can put my name in the hat twice.  Thanks for the opportunity.
