More meat and sinew.
« on: October 29, 2008, 05:50:37 am »
Well after seeing Ryans I hate to post this one ,but o well it will be some good eating. It was a tought track,Jesse came by to help and I was glad he did.I made a good shot, double lung but not much blood. It ran about 150 yards and was slow tracking but we got it done.It was shot with my Osage take down ,sour wood shaft and trade point.I had to shoot behing the tree and didn't get full draw
so there was no exit, and the hit was a little high, guess thats why there wasn't much blood. 70lb
button.  ;) :)

If you don't want those backstraps just send them up here, I'll see that they're properly disposed of......;D

That was a tuff track, i mean most of the blood we found was little drips and some were spread out 10 or 15 feet. and the deer zig zagged down and across the hill.
