My new recurve bow....55 lbs....

Hi guys ......this is my new bow, its an recurve bow made from ash wood.....55 lbs @ 25"......overlays are made from cow horn, leather at the handle, the string is made from dacron B50....here are some pictures...i hope u will like it.....










I forgot to mention that this bow is a llittle asimetrical, the arrows passes 1" above the true center of the bow.....becose of that the top limb looks a little bit longer....

i love the wood  grain orientaion on  the belly side,simply wonderfull


being the arrow pass is one inch over center,shouldnt that make the upper limb look a little shorter?
i could be wrong,but yes it does look longer. doesnt matter though, i still like the bow

HI....the handle area is measured like this....3" down the center and 1 " above the center....so, this way, the upper limb is a little bit longer then the top limb....the fade from the top limb is a little bit longer....

Hi guys....thks a lot for your replays....the dye is some natural solution , water based.....and the limbs are black,  and in the handle area , i used some red dye....they call it " rose" colore.....i think its ben called like that, beose this colore is exactly like roses petals....
