the spidery stuff is a tad harder to thin, requires a bigger platform.....novaculite appears to be a form of fine-grained quartzite unless I am mistaken....

Well, if it had that dandy parallel flaking, it would be an Eden...part of the Scottsbluff family. I just sorta hacked that one out, I got part of the flakes right, here's the Perino book.....
