Hey Mike, I'm sorry you're going through some tough times right now. Maybe looking forward to the trip between now and May might help you handle some of the bumps in the road...hope so.

Last year Dana intended to work on bows some, but so enjoyed just visiting and getting to know folks that he was completely satisfied with just hanging out with everyone. Pretty good way to have a good time and relax... ;)

Yeah Dana, you can bring the billets just in case you run out of something to talk to folks about and get bored...but I doubt it. ;D

I don't know how anyone manages to finish a bow with all that is going on. Unless you do like Tiller and put a whole week into it. If I get to come maybe Pat will bring my half finished holmie. Making a half of a bow per year might be doable and still get to do all the other fun stuff. L.O.L.       Kenneth

I always plan on getting in the selfbow challenge and have a stave roughed out
but never get it out of the hot box. :) Just to much else to do and to many people to talk and visit with.Maybe if we could get one year without rain I would have more time. That usually takes up
my Sat.trying to make sure folks are confrotable and as dry as possible.  :)

Guys, put me in the selfbow challenge please. But this year I think a roughed out stave would be wonderful. I want to spend some time chatting and doing all the fun stuff.  I'm thinking Eastern woodlands D bow this time.  Pappy, do you think ya could rough out one of your staves like this for me? Something about the simplicity of a wood with even limbs, no fades and a working handle says something to me.  Last years bow was amaizing but like Dana said it took me all week from stave to bow and I wasn't even done with it then!!! Boy did it come out nice though!!!! I'm happy!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Hey SarahAnne! Long time not talk. How ya doin?

Sounds good to me Greg. Maybe we should have a hickory bow from pick ax handle competition?  ;D

Anyone know if TN has a three or four day hunting permit?
