Arrow shaft jig up and running!

(1/3) > >>

IONIAN:
I tested the new arrow jig with a piece of scrap ash it seems to work pretty well.

The piece measured .350 after a little sanding. I am using the wrong bit, I am sure with a bullnose the shafts would come out ready to use.

Here it is with the router mounted and the shaft guide in place.

I'm going to run to the sawmill this weekend and pick up some more ash and turn a few. Hope you guys like it.

Timo:
That's real swell Nick! Ya need to get you one of them bits I showed you the pic of. It will really make a difference in how the shafts look out of the doweller.I bet out of that one, they will be almost finished! Nice work.

IONIAN:
Thanks Tim, I do need a 1/2 inch bullnose. The straight bit leaves ridges but they sand out ok.

Cromm:
Hi,
Great looking jig!!!!

Timo:
Nick, I use a 3/8" bit on mine.
