IONIAN:
Tim, across the corners the 3/8 inch wood stock it is almost 9/16's. Does it clear the 3/8 inch bit ok or does it chatter?

Timo:
Nick, I beleive I cut my stock @ 7/16"? Not real sure, I'd have to go check. Never had a problem with chatter.

Timo:
Nick, I checked my blanks and they are 7/16". Did you set your first guide blocks up with a 1/2 hole? If so then these should just fit through them tightly and the drill will take some of the sides off as it passes through.

Course I didn't use a micrometer to set mine up though.:)

IONIAN:
Yeah Tim, I used a 1/2 inch drill and the blanks are just under 3/8's. They do lose some wood when they are fed through the first set of holes. I think the aluminum will hold up pretty well, but if it wears, I will use a reamer to open up the holes and use some bushings if I can find the right size.

Hey, on the bullnose bit you are talking about 3/8's diameter, not radius right?

Timo:
Yea Nick, 3/8" dia. I bought mine from Grizzly. It used to be called a "beading bit" now they are called bullnose. Not sure why the name changed?
