Throwing hawk ???

<< < (2/3) > >>

Buffalogobbler:
Guy's,
I had the pleasure of meeting Robby the other day and it sure was a grand time.
He is a craftsman and artist of the highest form!
I held those hawks!
and as amazing as they are with the metal inlays and engraving,
they are only a small portion of the bows, arrows, black powder guns and accouterments that Robby builds in his shop.
The guns especially, were amazing!

Kevin

Michael C.:
Hey Robby are those really functional or are they decorative? I think I can see that the hammer has been used on the one, looks like a little wear on it anyway, but would you take those camping/hunting and rely on them? Just a question I don't know anything about tommys, but I think those are really look wicked no matter if you can use them in the field.

mullet:
I bet they are fuctional, for sure. A Hawk is one of the best camp tools I would own. You would not believe how easy it is just to open a can with the edge of one.

Buffalogobbler:
Not only functional but they have been used.
I had them in my grimey hands the other day!
You can see in the pics the sharpened edges and the stain has been worn up near the head and the handle where your hands would be.
He makes them pretty, :)
But thier made to be used!

Kevin

robby:
Thank you for the  kind words Buffalo, They are much appreciated. Michael, They are indeed practical and functional, I do admit, I get carried away with the decorative aspect of these tools we make. Everything I make has a practical application, Thats why I never understood golf.
