Wood Chuck Stew

<< < (3/5) > >>

Hillbilly:
I like me some groundhog, it's good fixed a lot of different ways (almost identical to deer meat). Hedgeapple, I disagree-barbecued groundhog is really good-I've fed it to people who thought it was pork and went back for seconds and thirds. :) Like anything else, it's all in how you handle, clean, and treat it-plus, there's a big difference between an old rank boar and a nice young fat'un.

Buffalogobbler:
Hillbilly,
I see that fat old boar every now and then, he lives by my neighbor, Billie's old barn.
So far I've gotten two of the three young ones.

I told Billie (she's 87 years old) that I got two of them with my bow, and I guess she could not understand why I was using a bow,
because she asked me if I owned a gun?
I told her, oh yea I had a gun to hunt with,
and she said,
"well I got a shotgun and that old Wood Chuck better watch out" :D

In this town Billie is a legandary cook, I'm sure she'd know how to cook a Wood Chuck.

Buffalogobbler:
Guy's,
I don't know if I should be flattered or insulted.
I posted my "Woodchuck stew" recipe on a callmakers website and those jokers over there suggested,
that with glasses we could be TWINS!!!

I don't know about you guy's,
But I fail to see any resemblance!

Postman:
Chop off his tail, staple it to his left ear, give him a camo hat..... ;D

Nice shootin'

hedgeapple:
Nope, I don't see the resemblance
