Plain Jane Redo(Not for BOM)
« on: December 03, 2009, 01:23:59 pm »
Shannon gave me this osage bow at the Classic this spring, wasn't much wrong with it other than being a bit light for my draw length and it had some cracks in the recurves from bending them. I chopped her down to 55"NTN, rebent some curves in the tips and added some underlays on the the tips, then refinished her.
After some minor tillering shes pulling 50#@24" Thanks Shannon it will make a good blind bow :)

Very nice modifications Dana, It can be difficult to shorten re-bend tips and still have enough bow left. Congratulations.   If you find that it's to short of draw for ya,,,It's only an inch off my full draw. ::) >:D
