What type of feathers do you prefer for fletching primitive arrows?

Turkey and goose feathers are my favorite.

I've been using goose lately, lots of them for free during goose season. Turkey are my favorite, but they are harder to come by around here.

Pappy:
Turkey Primaries are what I use most of the time ,but Goose primaries work well also,just not quite as tough. :)

Turkey Primaries for me, but I like Turkey tail feathers also. I like the way they look.
