Ryoon, Thank you, Yew will heat form very well. Just go slow and try for a deep penetrating heat and use some lard to keep it from drying to much. I always try to bend just a touch past what I want for the end result. Things always settle in some. The The original reflexed area was slightly in front of the handle before tillering. The nice part is that the inner two thirds of the limbs are almost the same as the original stave.

Majsnuff, Thank you , Don't think I was brave. I almost backed it but wasn'tsure I could keep the skin or sinew down around the bumps so this seemed the best option. Like Shamas said, Good tight ringed Yew.

Shamus, Thank you Yes it's high density yew. Not sure what elevation this one came from but it looks to be about 4 rings per 1/16 of an inch. Had to use a magnifier to count. With that as an average it would be around 64 rings per inch.
