I am going to try to make it this year...if I can save up the money....it's a long haul from the Texas Panhandle alone...fuel eats me up....But I'll see if I can find a way!

More wood cutting and Megan, sweet little girl with a beautiful smile that I love seeing. :) Me skinning a doe Jimmy gave me more hides and sinew. 100 LB. DOE. Jimmy and me celebrating the kill. :)

Beau's 159 lb 9 point, nice deer. He hadn't had time to hunt much, you know how life gets in the way at that age so I let him take out the AR to a place I had been hunting all week, felt sure he could kill something.  ;) :) :) I don't usually allow guns ,but heck he's my son and the farm will be his some day anyway, Also he will get to pick my rest home so I need to be good to him.  ;) ;D ;D ;D He was tickled and I was for him. :) Now he has is winter supply of meat for him and Christina. :) Jon's bow to first brace, looking very good so far. Hope yall had a good one I know I did. Life is Good.  ;) :)

Sure is a lot going on there on weekends Pappy, love seeing the pics and hearing about it all, Real nice deer harvest by
Beau and Jimmy. Looks like the firewood pile got replenished quickly and the bows in yhe works are looking good as well. With all that activity going on there a person sure couldn't say they were bored at Twin Oaks. :)
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

I've shot bows, worked on bows, worked on arrows, etc, all weekend....and nothing I do here at home could replace just one day down there.  The need for that camp fire is drawin' me closer by the minute!   Looks like another great weekend down in that holler.  Gonna try real hard to get down there again before the year's up.   I have some new bows I need to let Greg test shoot  ;D
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.
