Michael takes a nice doe, skinning it with the Goff ball method. Worked fine.  :)

Skinning Megan's deer with a Goff ball also, Michael is going to mount this one for her so we skinned from the other way. Hide came off nice and clean, I may try that with some of mine. :) :)

Just hanging out by the fire with a bowl of venison stew. Still stretching and drying hides. ;) :) :)

Supper Saturday night, Poppers from DaveO ,Crappy from Chris and Venison stew from Pappy  :) :) Yum Yum ,some truck work to top off the weekend. It was a great time. Deer season is now over except for the Youth hunt this coming weekend, then we plan on really getting busy  ;) ;D ;D ;D Got a big year coming up for TwinOaks with the Classic of course but have taken on the IBO Traditional world again for 2 years so that really eats up the Spring and Summer. Busy but I am really looking forward to it. :) Hope yall hade a great Christmas and have a blessed 2015. Life is Good.  ;)

Me too! I can hardly wait til spring. Always a good time at Twin Oaks...even with truck repair!  ;D
I have a froe just like that one Pappy. It comes in handy with some of those hard to split staves.

Yep, really missing the place, too. I'm really busy at work for the next several months, might have to decide on the Classic or Turkey hunting this year. And it was nice to see Case and Terri, that boy is getting big.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Come on now Eddie, you can Turkey hunt at the Classic or just send Miss Kathy, don't really care if you make it or not as long as she does. ;);) ;D ;D I have the youth hunt this weekend and then about all that is left to hunt is Squirrel/Rabbit, Al tho we have talked about trying to thin the Coyotes out a bit, that could be fun. :-\ :) that's OK I am ready for some bow/arrow/knife and hide work and this is the time of year for that.  :)

What methods are you going to use to thin the coyotes?  Calling, trapping, or some other means?

Calling and an AR was the plan ,but if you have other idea's  I would love to here them, I don't really care just want them MOSTLY GONE you see I didn't say completely just mostly. ;) :) :)
A few around ant a problem but to many is, when it gets to where you can't leave a deer a few hours much less overnight then that is a problem to me. :)
