Then I decided that even with one arm I could run a saw and drill press so I made a new bow rack for the cabin. Things have started to get a little cluttered in there. ??? :)

It will hold 18 or 20 bow and really turned out nice. Now I can find just the bow I want. Then my old friend, the original token Yankee ;) :) Frank Arent stopped by to show off his new ride. Very cool. He is 86 and still hard at it. Hope I can do what he does when I reach that age. :)

I gave Dan some scrap off the Coral snake I backed the dogwood bow with and he made some arrows to match, very sharp. I finely got the gun Strap Joe York made for my son Beau mounted on his 30.06. Very fine work Joe. Thanks a lot. :) Then more leaf blowing and burning. :)

Will showed up to test out his new snake bow, turned out nice. The youth hunt starts, no deer this year but they seemed to have a good time.  :) Saturday while the youth hunt was going on we did some more leaf blowing and gutter/roof cleaning around the cabin. The young guys got on the roof. ??? ;)

Grant skinning a deer he took the Friday before the youth hunt. Eddie/Chris and Shane showed up from FL. for the week. Shane brought me a bag full of cow horns. They are some really nice ones and very much appreciated. :)

Dave showed up for a few day and still lots of bow work going on. I spent most of the week working on bow because I couldn't shoot one. :(

Chris shooting his for the first time, shot nice, it didn't have any problem but was very thin ringed so I talked him into rawhide backing with deer rawhide. I just happened to have some. ;) :)

They pulled out Friday night headed back to FL. Saturday morning Grant killed a nice young doe. That's it for the week, it was a great time for me and I think they all had a good time also.
Nothing like spending time in the woods/shop and around the fire with good friends. :) No deer for them but all had a chance and went home with 2 nice shooting bows and Eddie got one ready to start tillering, me and Eddie just get side tracked a lot, imagine that. ::)
Life is Good. ;) :)
