Thanks Clint, don't do many with scales Mostly do hidden tang but this one turned out OK, this was a piece of 1095 steel GregB gave me and i had no choice, got 1 more piece of it but can get a hidden tang from it, it is in the works right now just deciding on what handle material to use. :-\ leg bone /horn or cactus material. ??? :)

Great weekend , still very hot and dry but we managed to have some fun just the same, calling for rain every day this week and some cooler, we will See how that goes. :) Mostly I was doing knife work with a little bow work, shooting and eating thrown in. Trying to decide on the handle for my latest blade, leg bone, elk antler or cactus , I decided to go with the cactus, never done one before but turned out fine, taped it up and filled with epoxy let dry and smoothed it all out, it filled the voids really well. :)
