Got my gear all ready with 2 bows and a new set of arrows all tuned in. Then Saturday morning the deer started coming in. Lots of doe and a few nice bucks over the weekend.  :)

Then I got my chance, nice spike at 7 yards, not huge but meat for the freezer, Big A also got a nice 8 point with his recurve, it still had velvet hanging off.  :)

Then for the awards and the feed, we had venison BarB Q and venison sloppy joe, it went well and some great eating.  :) Hope yall had a good one also and all is safe from the storm. Life is Good. :)

Thanks, yes a little slow here also, should get better as the weather cools and the rain finely stopped. I have had the crud all week so have not been back out, feeling some better now and probably get back after them by the weekend. Did manage to get mine skinned and boned out, now just need to get it cut up and packaged. May do that tomorrow and then try and hunt some this weekend. :)
