Man was the supper good, Sunday morning Dave got his second one, a nice long beard and Bo also got a nice long beard, now it's John's turn. Eddie yall better hurry up before they are all gone.  Just kidding, their is plenty to go around. Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good.

I had a great couple of days at Twin Oaks.  Getting the 2 turkeys were just the icing on the cake.  Getting to hang out with my friends was the best part.  The food was right up there too.    We don't go hungry when we're there.  Looking forward to the Classic.  Thanks Pappy for letting me come down and hunt and hang out.

Ya time of year here where it is warm 1 day and cool the next, was almost 80 yesterday and only 60 today, spring in Tennessee.

Headed down this morning for a couple of days, planning on trying to finish up the ranges and a few other things that need to be done before next week, got people coming in as early as Friday the 24th, lots just come and spend the week before the shoot, seems more every year so things need to be finished .Got Eddie and his buddy down doing some Turkey hunting, will be good to see them, I may try to hunt some once the Classic is over if their is any Turkey left to hunt.  Hope yall have a good one also, I feel pretty sure I will. Life is Good.

If that many folks are coming that early I thought I'd better put in a request for my normal camping spot if it's available. I'm starting to gather my camping stuff and have it staged for the car packing. I've even made an appointment to get my car serviced before heading out.

Had a great weekend and beautiful Easter. We got the ranges all set, need a little tweaking but the hard part is finished, didn't spend much time is the shop but did get my knife Heat treated/tempered and the scales on and finished, Eddie and Doug showed up to Turkey hunt, that didn't take long.  2 nice toms first hour out the first morning. Congrats Eddie/Doug !!! I went right to work on the range, I had 2 more set for me and helped the others with theirs.

Took some time in the evening to get my blade tempered and the scales fitted and glued up, also worked up all the wings I have gotten over the last few weeks, up to 10 pair so far. Sister was tired after a day chasing me around.  Annie not so much, she never gets enough ;)Then back on the range Saturday morning.
