I finely got it mostly clean except for a few small check still in the back, so decided to lay out and cut to profile, leaving plenty of wood on the belly in case I need to chase another ring, as it turned out I did. :) Brats for lunch. :)

Got it to profile and then chased 2 more rings on the back, it cleaned up nicely, ready to floor tiller and put on the form, it had a lot of propeller so need some work before tillering. I was also helping a buddy make a knife out of and old saw mill blade, got it softened and he got it laid out/handle drilled and the taper done with a little help.  :)

Osage ready for tiller stick, I know a lot don't like the tiller stick but that's how I learned , only use it until ready to low brace. Got Terry's handles glued up, splatted Hickory that came off his farm, beautiful wood.  :) Brats for lunch again. ;) :) :)

Bucky showed up to work on a bow and I got my Osage almost ready to low brace, decided that was enough for the day, awful damp in the shop so thought it might need a rest. Sally just waiting on supper in her favorite chair. :)

Headed to the Cabin for a couple of days, plan on a little hiking this morning, up to 50lbs and 3 miles, might make my gold by 1st of September of 4 miles and 60lbs, we will see. :-\ :) Shawn and I are Making brats today , I still have plenty from the winter making but he is running short so we plan on making him 100 or so, also hope to get some time to work on my Osage bow and of course do a little shooting. :) Hope yall have a good on also. Another great weekend, a little wet again but getting use to that. Spent Friday make Brats for Shawn, we have done it so much together 100 brats seems like nothing. I done a 3 mile hike with 52lb and then we started on brats about 9:30. Took about 2 1/2 hours and man they came out very tasty.  :)

Then some venison steak for lunch, A buddy of mine brought me about 8 pain of Turkey wings and tail feathers so I got them all worked up and in a safe dry spot, should wind up with about 40 pain by the time all is said and done. Guess you can't have to many.  :)

Then for some bow work, I was working on my new Osage and got it to brace and Mark working on his Osage limb bow with sap wood on.  :) Both coming along nicely. :)
