Well its Friday, nothing special planed for the weekend. It is only a week till Deer season so I need to get everything togeather ,arrows, bows, quivers, cloth and have to put up a couple more stands so I'll be busy. Got to do a little more scouting, the white Oaks are starting to fall so that changes
everything. We have a bunch of white oak acorns but no red oak this year all a bumper crop
of Persimmons. My farm also has about 80 ac. of beans this year that were planted late so they
are still pretty green, the deer stay in them a lot,It kind of changes everything I am use to so
I need to do some looking.Hope yall have a good one also.See ya Monday.Life is good. :)

Pappy, I'm heading to my club in GA this morning. I didn't get a chance to go down early to scout and set stands so I will have to do a quick scouting and stand placement when I go out. Hopefully the acorns are dropping and I have heard from other members that the persimmons and grapes are heavy.      We'll see!  ;)    Pat

I also got 2 Yucca plants sent to me in the mail from Koan,Got them in the ground right in front
of the porch. The dog are Annie and her proud momma Hannah. Also Jesse putting the handle on the blade he made for me.  :) Jesse playing with bugs,His little Osage needed a little tweaking so I put it on the form for him,The least I can do for the nice blades he keeps giving me. ;) :) :) By the way thanks
Koan for the plants, they will be cool to look at and also useful.

That's a mighty pretty point out of your twin oaks chert!  ;) Had a good time hanging stands, shooting, and petting the dogs Saturday. Can't wait until the weekend and opening day...I still get excited and have trouble sleeping the night before opening day, ...with visions of big bucks walking under my stand... ;D

Pappy, sorry I missed it.  Looks like a great time on the farm.  I had some catching up around the house to do since I will be leaving next Monday for another 10 days gone and Momma had things that need to be done.  I will be over Sat. afternoon....hopefully with a deer.  I got to shoot a little, the broadheads are sharp and everything is flying straight so no excuses.
