We have started meeting Wed. evening at the cabin to shoot,Don't seem to shoot as much as we use to and decided to meet and that would be all we would focused on.It was fun,BigA ,Greg Doug and myself meet yesterday.There are supposed to be several more but like everything else it's hard to get all of us togeather.We will build on it. We wind up building bows/arrows and things and don't use them like we should and Lord knows I need the practice.I did manage to get 5 Hickory bows laid out while waiting on them to get there. ;) ;D ;D

Friday again,headed to the cabin as soon as I can get out of here. :) ;D We plan on
working on the Hickory stave's for the scouts this weekend,I think BigA and Greg are going down early this morning so they should havesome of it done when I get there.Greg is staying tonight and we plan on fried fish he caught a few weeks ago.No telling what else we will get into but you can bet it will be fun.Hope yall have a big 4th.Be careful.Life is good. :)

Had a great weekend,hope yall did the same.We got the Hickory blanks ready for the scouts,that
was the main thing we wanted to finish.Also got some snake skins on GregB's snake bow,it looks great.I also got my take down shooting and my snake bow braces.Got some arrows ready for my
hog hunt with Mullet in a few weeks ,he said I needed a bunch. ;) ;D The main event for me was
Jesse taught me how to build a friction fire.I gathered all the stuff and mad a fire without diesel fuel witch was a big deal for me.Here are some pictures of the weekend.Life is good. :)

O ya a great supper,Greg deep fried fish he caught a couple of weeks ago.Very good eating. :)
My arrows,think that is enough Eddie ? Greg's snake skin,it was about the best looking Timber I have seen.And some old friends just resting and watching.

My snake bow at first brace and my take down after heat treating and flipping the tips,Had to re do the right one it didn't take as much for some reason and Haley checking out some stain for her Hickory bow she Finished tillering a few weeks ago.It turned out very nice,I don't know about the stain she chose but I guess if she likes it that is all that matters ;) :).Hope yall had a good one also.Life is good. :)

Looks like you got some visitors after I left Saturday! Congrats on the fire building! The timber rattler skin I had at home turned out to match that one better, I got them both trimmed off now and looking good!  :)
