Had a great time Pappy.
About worked my self silly on that Big-O bow.  The outer limbs still look stiff???

Saw Filer is a great teacher when it comes to flint knapping.  Think I may have to come back for some more lessons. ;D
Thanks Shannon.

Forrest was bored stiff staying home all weekend.  He said, as only a bored teenager can do, " I wish I had gone with you to see Pappy".  I invited the boy to go...he turned me down...  What can you do. ::)

Dont yet know what I am going to do with that knife???  Just not happy with it yet.

Got two chiggers, one seed tick and two small spots of Poison Ivy. ;D
Life is good.

Thanks Pappy

Pappy went well I was pleased with the place lotta bottom land and heavy timnber big oaks for acorns took a few pot shot at an armadillo with the .22 pistol we actually jumped up a small buck found some scrapes from last year and had ducks in the pond that took off as we stepped out of the woods. Sorry no pics I forgot my camera in the excitement of getting down there. It's the first time I've gotten together with both of my sons in quite a spell. It was kinda like old times.

Jon is working on an Osage bow,we found a few worms in it,GregB is shooting the bow he got from RyanO,man that thing is a sweet shooter.  :) We plan on rawhide backing Jon's bow and also packed the hole with sawdust and supper glue.BigA is working a bow for his nephew, sweet little Osage. :)
