That's a beauty Jon,Ya we had a good weekend, got a lot done around the shop and got some hunting is also. Seen some deer but no shots, maybe next time. ;) :) Seen my good buck again
Sunday morning but was just to early to be sure of a good shop,12 yards,if he keeps that up I may get another crack at him before it's over. I got another hide scraped and also got started on a special project I need to get done,Snakey Osage,Jon gave me the stave,it had some worm holes so I put some rawhide on it. Here are a few pictures of the fun. :) We also got Jon one of the cleanest pieces of HHB laid out and roughted in,it should make a fine bow. :)

Don't have a picture but you tie the 2 together a few inches from the top then spread them apart
to make a V to rest the gun barrel in,I guess you would call them shooting sticks, they are light to carry around, these guy do a lot of squirrel hunting with a 22 and they use them for a rest, works really nice and cheap to boot. :) :)

Sure like seeing King Ron and a skinny looking Greg.  Jon seems to be a very handy dude to have around.  Makes me have a case of the "High Lonesomes"  to see all the things going on at the farm!  A/Ho Pokie
