It was a good weekend, had a good turnout at the event, even if only this one family had of showed up. Their name is "Hood", and I think there are thirteen or so youngun's and counting! They were all lined up politely waiting to shoot. One of the boys I feel like we've made an impact on him, because his brother told us he had a bow and wouldn't let the rest of them practice with it because he wanted to be better then his siblings! That brother did win the contest by the way! ;)

I think my girlfriend is hooked already...kept asking me all kinds of questions about history of bows, etc. She is pretty competitive, so I feel like she could be a contender. :)

Pappy, shouldn't be surprised with Woody in the mix!  ;) Gotta love him! :) Wish we could get more of the snow during hunting season.

It was -19 here on Monday.  If you took a cup of boiling water and threw it up in the air it would immediately turn to snow.  Brrr.  We take it in stride.  We have been skiing a bunch and working ion projects in the house.  I have several skinning knives in the works for graduation presents for a few of my students.  I'll post pics when I finish.
