12 LONG DAYS LEFT.  Hope I still have the couch reservation at Pappy's spa and resort ;D
Mark hope I can help you and greg with getting the bows cut out like I did last year for the Classic.  That helps to learn alot.
Let me know what kind of grub you want me to bring to help feed us.
I call a lot of people brother, but only count a few as family.

Would like to come this evening myself, but have an awards banquet to go to for my youngest son...good and bad in that his mother will be there also.

Ah marriage.  Marriage is like a deck of cards.  At first all you need are two hearts, and a diamond.  Then at the end you wish you had a club and a spade. >:D

you can split them any time...it's just better to do it when they are first cut to keep them from Cracking..plus the Bark comes off easier too.....and they will also dry faster this way...just remember to seal the ends of all freshly split Staves to keep the drying process slowed down...and from splitting the ends.

Step away from the log wrap it securely and send it to me I will dispose of it properly. Only a highly experienced con... uh I mean log splitter can handle a log like that.Ron
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

I would rather split them green but have done it both ways, the only trouble I have with especially white wood ,if I leave the bark on I usually get bugs, spray or not. I done some this weekend, persimmon, bark came off pretty easy. We had a great weekend, even with the rain.Got the addition on the Napping shed, got the big stove almost finished[rebuilding] Just need a few more parts, got trophies ready for our up coming shoot and lot of other smaller stuff done.
Had a bunch hanging around all weekend, guess the rain pushed them to the work shop. Here are some pictures of the weekend.Hope you enjoy. :)
